Trusted Clients

The XLReporter OPCUA client certificate needs to be trusted for the WinCC Advanced OPC UA Server. To do so, in Windows File Explorer on the WinCC Runtime Advanced PC, browse to the Siemens OPC UA server certificate store and open the PKI folder. After a third-party OPC UA client attempts to connect, WinCC will usually place the untrusted client certificate in a folder such as rejected\certs. To trust the client, copy or move that client certificate file, usually a .der file, from rejected\certs into the corresponding trusted\certs folder. Then restart WinCC Runtime Advanced.
