Upgrading from version 2025 SP1 or Below

Prior to version 2025 R2, it was assumed that only one Gateway and one provider was set up in one database.

The Gateway is now part of the connector and the provider is now part of the tag name. When a project is loaded from an earlier version, XLReporter attempts to update the connector and tag names in data groups based on the first gateway and provider for that gateway read.

It is recommended that once the project is loaded, the connector and data groups are checked to ensure that the proper gateway and tags are used to get the correct data.
