What happened to Mobile-911?
Mobile-911’s “End-of-Life” occured on December 21, 2021.
Mobile-911 related services, specifically the cloud-based services required to transmit push notifications have been shut down.
Why was Mobile-911 discontinued?
Mobile-911 was launched in 2008 to take advantage of the first iPhone. Over the past 12 years, the app has expanded to Android and gone through numerous updates. In 2019, we completely rewrote the codebase to add new features and security architecture, resulting in a next generation mobile solution called WIN-911 Mobile.
WIN-911 Mobile has since become our customers preferred option. This fact, along with potentially destabilizing iOS updates have prompted us to discontinue Mobile-911 so that our team can focus entirely on enhancing WIN-911 Mobile. Learn More →
