Keep critical water operations moving around the clock
From treatment to distribution, SmartSights helps water and wastewater teams stay ahead of alarms, compliance, and equipment issues with less manual effort and more visibility.
Trusted by 30,000+ industrial customer across the globe.
See and respond before small issues become bigger problems
Water and wastewater systems operate 24/7, but operators can’t be everywhere. Extending visibility beyond the control room helps teams respond to changing conditions sooner, cover critical assets, and reduce manual reporting efforts.
Reach the right person, even after hours
When an alarm isn’t answered, teams need a reliable way to reach the right person. WIN-911 monitors alarm conditions configured in your plant control system. It notifies the right people by voice, SMS, email, or mobile push (via SmartSights Mobile), and escalates based on roles, schedules, or severity.
Spend less time building compliance reports
Creating operating reports and state forms manually takes hours and risk errors. XLReporter extracts data from sources like PLCs, HMI or SCADA logs, Historians, relational databases and more. It auto-generates reports like compliance, and KPI dashboards, and integrates data from multiple sources in the same report, including from lab and operator-entered data.
Remote visibility that works for operators, managers, and IT
SmartSights Mobile keeps things simple for everyone who touches the alarm system. Operators can tap to acknowledge an alarm, get advice from the team, or check asset KPIs before calling a job done. Managers can check team status, set the on-call schedule, and update contact info from their phone at any time. IT gets a secure, low-maintenance setup through a modular edge gateway that needs no inbound firewall rules, so 24/7 remote visibility is easy to achieve.

Work With This Industry

Talk to an expert-
Will WIN-911 work with my existing plant
control system and alarms?Yes, in almost all cases. WIN-911 connects directly to your existing SCADA/HMI platform, including AVEVA, Rockwell, GE, Ignition, and Schneider, through native connections or OPC, so you don't need to replace your control system. Its modular architecture communicates over HTTPS with certificate-based trust, SmartSights Mobile connections are outbound-initiated so no inbound firewall port is needed, and an optional Edge Gateway can keep the process network fully isolated. Alerts can go out by voice, SMS, email, mobile push, or in-plant announcer/PA. -
How does XLReporter automate compliance reporting?
XLReporter pulls live values from your SCADA system and historical trends from your historian, and it works without a historian if one isn't available. It replaces paper forms for lab results, operator rounds, and manual checks with electronic data entry, and it can pull lab data from relational databases such as a LIMS. It then builds the report in the exact Excel form your regulatory agency issues, matching cell for cell and formula for formula, and populates it on your reporting schedule. -
Can WIN-911 replace my existing alarm
solution or autodialer?Yes, this is a common use case. WIN-911 can take over from older autodialers, pagers, or other alarm notification products, and it imports your existing alarm tags so you don't have to rebuild your alarm configuration. This also removes the risk of legacy devices that rely on 2G/3G cellular modems or POTS phone lines, which carriers are retiring. -
How does licensing work?
WIN-911 is available as a subscription license, which includes Customer Care and version upgrades and renews automatically unless you give notice, or as a perpetual license. If a WIN-911 license lapses, the runtime keeps running and alarms and notifications still go out, but configuration access is disabled and routing falls back to notifying all contacts on every alarm. XLReporter behaves similarly: scheduled reports keep running, interactive access is disabled, and reports are watermarked to flag that the license needs attention. -
Do I need any hardware for sending text messages
or making phone calls? For most deployments, no. SMS and voice through a cloud service, email, and mobile push run over your existing network connection and a configured service account, with no new on-site equipment. Hardware is only needed if you want delivery over an analog phone line or a dedicated cellular modem.
