New version allows auto-import and configuration of legacy alarm tags during install
AUSTIN, TEXAS — WIN-911 today announced the availability of a new “direct connect” for Wonderware InTouch Machine Edition and System Platform 2017. System integrators and end-users can now deploy the world’s most widely used alarm notification software on two of the world’s most widely adopted HMI-SCADA platforms quickly and easily.
"WIN-911 already connects directly to all the other Wonderware HMI-SCADAS, so native integration with InTouch Machine Edition completes the circle,” said Greg Jackson, CEO. “Now all Wonderware customers can take advantage of WIN-911’s modern features like two-way notifications, browser-based configuration, and dynamic escalation."
Benefits of the new direct connects include:
- Setting up WIN-911 with ME and System Platform no longer requires a separate import for alarm attributes and tags. This is done automatically at runtime.
- Existing alarms can be filtered based on priority, area, or name, allowing rapid location of key alarms.
- New alarms are processed without configuration changes
- Alarms can be automatically escalated to different contact groups and individuals
