Today WIN-911 announced the opening of our first alarm management software office in China – based in Shanghai. Up till now we have always supported our Asian customers from our Austin HQ and our European office in Grenoble, France. But the explosion of the market for industrial automation and IIoT in China – evidenced by the growth of our authorized distributors from 9 in 2012 to 27 in 2017 – made it obvious that we needed a local presence.
A major catalyst for this was the 2017 update to our alarm management software which provides localized language support in the product and native premium voice support in natural-sounding Mandarin, Hong-Kong Cantonese, and Taiwan-Cantonese.

What’s more amazing is the interest from end customers has come from a broad range of industries – from tech manufacturing to life sciences to food & beverage to water and wastewater management to name just a few. WIN-911 is well positioned to meet this demand because we have a track record in all of these verticals.
Our China office will be more than just a sales center. Our goal is to support our strategic partners, distributors, and systems integrators with the world class support and service they have become accustomed to across North America and throughout Europe.

The person leading the charge at the China office will be Daniel XU. His background in the shipbuilding and wind power industries makes him an ideal partner for driving business development in China.
