AUSTIN, Texas—(BUSINESS WIRE)—North America–based WIN-911 Software, the world’s largest provider of alarm notification software in the “Internet of Things” marketplace, has taken a substantial equity stake in Micromedia International, the largest provider of alarm notification software in Europe. Micromedia International has also taken an equity stake in WIN-911.
The move provides WIN-911 access to support and other resources to service customers in Europe and allows Micromedia to tap into those same resources in the North American market via WIN-911. Local firms as well as multinationals will benefit from the partnership between these leaders in industrial process automation.
“Most of our large corporate customers, we service more than 170 of the Fortune 500, have facilities in multiple countries and want to be supported locally. This development enhances WIN-911’s ability to do this,” said Robert Brooker, CEO of WIN-911 Software.
“Many of our clients are international companies that we accompany around the world. Our partnership with Win-911 will give our customers a great opportunity to have a better service and a closer assistance, anywhere they are established. Furthermore, by joining their competence and experiences, Micromedia and Win-911 teams will be more efficient to develop and propose the best alarm notification solutions of the future,” commented Michel Llonch, President of Micromedia International.
The two companies will continue to enhance and market their respective products; however over time WIN-911 Software and Micromedia will coordinate product development activities.
