Among WIN-911’s many achievements for 2014, it’s particularly worth noting that we finalized a strategic partnership with Micromedia International and opened a new office in Grenoble, France, providing us with greatly improved access to the European, African, and Asian markets.
In 2014, with the addition of Agilent Technologies, Charter Communications, Cliffs Natural Resources, Norfolk Southern Corporation, Kinder Morgan, Mondelez, Bank of America, and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), the number of WIN-911 users listed among the Fortune 500 rose from 173 to 181,
WIN-911 also added another six of the world’s largest companies as clients, The addition of Mondelez International, Unilever, Delhaize Group, Bank of America, Enel, and Glencore brought the total from 114 to 120.
In the water and wastewater markets, the city of Chicago was added to our list of users in 2014. This addition means that WIN-911 alarm notification software is now being used by all ten of the largest cities in the United States. Approximately 400 other municipalities around the globe also began using WIN-911 software to help monitor their public utilities.
WIN-911 had the distinct honor of being selected as the alarm notification software for the Masjid al Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the holiest mosque in the world and primary destination of the Hajj pilgrimage. WIN-911 was also selected for One World Trade Center (the “Freedom Tower”) in New York City.
As if that list of achievements were not enough, we also launched the company’s newest technology offering, WIN-911 Enterprise Edition, our premier level of alarm notification software.
It was – to say the least – a very busy year!
In 2015, WIN-911 plans to continue its pattern of growth and reinforcing its reputation as the world’s most widely used alarm notification system. The company plans to open an Asia-Pacific office as well as continue upgrading its software to better serve the needs of “big data” customers as well as those of many other advanced users.
